George Sanger Joel and Richard (and their frontman Gary) were a huge influence on me and my bandmates' musical development. When I picture "what a 3-piece should sound like," their music evokes Madam Wong's and the smell of beer, changing times, changing art, and changing rules. Some of my best memories from "coming of age." I can't say how beautiful it is to hear them together again, making this Raw noise. Sounds like Freedom.

There's something on our minds that just won't let us go
It keeps us in line so the broken edges don't show
And no one should ever hear us whine or complain
So we've all got our medicine to ease and cut the pain

They look at life through rosy glasses or through a veil of tears
And everybody struggles to learn that sanity trick

Some see the love and some see the danger

Now can't you see that glaciers melt faster than they move
And wild fires are on the rise and all our oceans too
And how many rivers will run dry before we're done
And we're all burning up in our place in the sun

Every thing alive was born with an expiration date
Some keep moving and others just seem to wait
But I'll keep on trying until I get to the end of it
